The philosophy of the
New Beginnings Community Church
Recovery/Personal Growth Ministry is simple…
To equip people to live an intentional life of empowerment using the principles that God has laid out in His Word and by the example set forth by Jesus.
To live a haphazard life of chance and indecision is to be powerless and to give control of our behavior and decisions to others, thereby forfeiting the power and freedom that God’s grace, truth, and forgiveness grants us!
The decision that you face is not an easy one. Many of us come from a painful past that has a firm grip on our present. It’s difficult to face the pain and trauma of yesterday. I want to encourage all of you, that you are not alone. None of us come through life without bumps and bruises, it’s a result of the world that we live in. What’s the good news? We don’t have to face the future alone. God has placed us all together to rub shoulders and encourage one another through fellowship. This is one of the greatest assets of our Christ-centered recovery ministry.
We are here to offer love, support, and encouragement as you begin the walk down your own personal path toward growth. Our Recovery/Personal Growth Ministry is conducted in such a way as to create an environment in which the healing power of Jesus can work effectively, despite our own individual flaws and circumstances. New Beginnings is a firm believer that the church and it’s extensions should serve a function similar to that of a hospital, moving alongside fellow travelers down the road to a healthier life. We offer a wide variety of groups to assist your needs and desire for help and healing. Participation in NBCC’s Recovery/Personal Growth Ministry is a great start on the road to a healthier future.
Through NBCC groups, you’ll discover a safe haven to share and begin to examine our motivations and develop an understanding of why we are caught in our current patterns of behavior. We also identify changes that will benefit our present circumstances.
Through NBCC’s Recovery/Personal Growth Ministry we hope to assist you in regaining the power that God has given you to make the decisions that will move you toward a healthier tomorrow. We’re here to help.
